Employment with Dave’s Tree Service is year-round, full-time, with unlimited room for advancement. Work schedule is consistently Monday thru Friday, 7 am-4 pm, providing for family time on weekends with no long-distance travel required. Base compensation depends on experience and qualifications with increases as training benchmarks are met for each position’s duties and machinery proficiency.
Employee Benefit Package available after 90 days, including paid holidays, disability, life insurance, and 401K. Tree Care Crew Member
Basic Job Duties Include:
- Basic groundwork and work-area clean up.
- Driving large trucks with manual transmission and pulling trailers.
- Self-motivated, attention to detail, strong work ethic, while taking pride in your work.
Advanced Job Duties Include:
- Tree rigging in the canopy and from the group running the rope.
- Operating a bucket truck, aerial lift, mini skid steer, chipper, and other tree-related equipment.
- Knowledge and execution of basic tree cutting methods, in the tree and on the ground, and climbing are a strong bonus.
Qualified applicants must have a valid driver’s license and pass a drug test.
Tree Care Crew Foreman
Job Duties Include:
- Managing a 4-man crew daily with safety as a priority. Work involves responsibility for supervising, assigning, and participating in a variety of tasks, often hazardous, including pruning, caring for, felling, and removing rural, residential, and municipal trees.
- Communicating with sales and office staff daily.
- Creating teamwork to provide excellent customer care.
- Oversight of maintenance and maintenance log, including care of tools and equipment to insure proper function.
- Readily accept accountability for crew availability, as well as assist in on-the-job training for less experienced climbers and bucket operators.
- Tree rigging in the canopy and from the group running the rope.
- Operating a bucket truck, aerial lift, mini skid steer, chipper, and other tree-related equipment.
- Knowledge and execution of basic tree cutting methods, in the tree and on the ground, and climbing are necessary. Must have a thorough knowledge of proper pruning techniques (natural and directional pruning).
- Must be able to work at various heights and on uneven and slippery surfaces performing mentally/physically demanding work under unfavorable weather conditions while handling equipment or material.
- Self-motivated, attention to detail, strong work ethic, while taking pride in your work.
